Our Actions
We encourage the recycling of plastic bottles - and even better, no usage at all. The school has provided individual bins for everything recyclable, and posters are hung around the school.
This year our canteen has gone completely plastic friendly in cups and containers! Everything is made out of reusable paper, and plastic lids are biodegradable.
In addition, bringing your own container saves you 10c per beverage! We're seeing great improvement!
This year, since the canteen has gone completely plastic friendly, paper straws are given out when needed, and all the plastic straws have completely been discarded. In the recycling of course!
